At Dobruna Notary, we value your time and strive to provide efficient and reliable notary services. To ensure smooth operations and accommodate all our clients effectively, we have established the following cancellation & refund policy.
Notification of Cancellation:
If you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment, we kindly request that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance. This allows us to offer the appointment slot to another client who may be in need of our services. You can contact us via phone at 571-766-8279 or email at linde@dobrunanotary.com
No-Shows:
A "no show" occurs when the signer fails to show up for a scheduled appointment without prior notification or cancels with less than 4 hours notice. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, therefore, we will send you a reminder about the missed appointment and provide an opportunity to reschedule.
In cases where there is a no-show or cancellation has been made within 2 hours before the appointment, the travel fee paid in advance will be withheld (it is nonrefundable). Cancellation and no-show fees pay notaries for their time, loss of availability to take other signing appointments, printing costs (if applicable) and effort they spend getting to the signing location.
On-site Incomplete Notarizations:
In the event that, while on-site, a notarization cannot be completed due to client-related issues, travel fees will not be subject to refunds.
REFUNDS
Refund Eligibility:
All notary services, once provided, may not be eligible for a refund due to the nature of the service. These services include but are not limited to completed notarizations or notary acts that have been executed and finalized, and on-site incomplete notarizations. Refunds will only be considered for payments made in advance for notarial acts that have not yet been rendered.
Refundable Circumstances:
1) Appointment Cancellation: If you provide a minimum of 24 hours notice for appointment cancellation, any payment made in advance, will be eligible for a refund. This includes travel fees as well.
2) Service Unavailability: If we are unable to fulfill the notary service due to unforeseen circumstances or an issue on our end, a full refund will be provided.
3) Errors: Full refund will be issued in the event of a demonstrable error caused by Dobruna Notary that cannot be resolved by re-notarizing the document(s) through an in-person notarization by Dobruna Notary.
Refund Requests:
Refund requests must be submitted via email at linde@dobrunanotary.com within 3 days from the original payment date. Refunds will be processed using the original payment method. Please allow a reasonable processing time for the refund to be reflected in your account. Note that the timeframe for the refund to appear may vary depending on your financial institution.
